A landing page has one job: get the visitor to take one action. Everything on the page should help — or get out of the way.
1. A headline that matches the ad
If someone clicked “WordPress maintenance from $99”, your headline should say exactly that. Message match builds instant trust.
2. One clear call to action
Remove the navigation menu. Repeat the same CTA two or three times. Never give visitors five different things to do.
3. Benefits before features
Lead with what changes for the customer: more leads, less admin, fewer headaches. Features support the story.
4. Proof
Testimonials, logos, numbers and short case studies — placed right next to your call to action.
5. Objection handling
A short FAQ answers the questions that would otherwise stop someone from converting: price, timeline, commitment.
6. Speed
Every extra second of load time costs conversions, especially on mobile. Aim for under two seconds.
7. Tracking
Without analytics and conversion tracking, you are guessing. Measure, test one change at a time, and improve.
